"Stop the killings" is the cry from our young people and families today. Join us for an inspirational event as we fight on for a safer society where young people will no longer be killed on our streets.
The producers of Nelson Mandela: The Official Exhibition, with Dwaynamics ABC and The Safety Box, have joined forces to invite you to a special Private View of the exhibition in support of these two award winning Social Enterprises on Thursday 9 May at 7pm.
Ticket income from this fundraising event will support the vital work being undertaken to address youth violence by Dwaynamics ABC and The Safety Box, both of which create evidenced solutions to reducing youth violence and re-offending.
Guests at this special Private View, will have the opportunity to visit Nelson Mandela: The Official Exhibition, a powerful experience that takes visitors on a personal journey through the life of the world’s most iconic advocate for peace, unity and reconciliation. From Prisoner to President, the exhibition tells the story of his struggle, his strength and his determination to end conflict and suspicion. This is the story of a role model for peaceful activism to end violence and disunity.
The evening will also present an opportunity to hear powerful testimonies directly from young people who have turned their lives around and are finding solutions to the epidemic of youth violence, as well as hearing first-hand how a mother turned the dark horror of her murdered son into a powerful force of Peace and Light.
You will also hear from the founder of The Safety Box, Nathaniel Peat, about the incredibly important work being undertaken transforming the lives of those in prisons. Youth violence must end and it will end if we bring back our respect for human life, liberty and well-being inspired by Nelson Mandela.
Dwaynamics ABC and The Safety Box will share the work they are continuing with the younger generation. Pioneering peace, education and transformation amongst all including victims and perpetrators of violence.
The evening will be one of a kind, not to be missed and attended by special VIP invited guests.
